We have a great new finance role for a Finance Manager. The finance manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the head of finance by ensuring the smooth delivery of monthly accounts and reporting packs. This is also a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills as you will manage a small team which will grow over the next 18 months. The finance manager will also gain exposure to the senior stakeholders across the operations and sales functions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting for the business, encompassing P&L, KPI's, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statements
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the annual budget process and re-forecasts, providing detailed commentary
  • Assist with a number of high profile M&A projects
  • Implement robust financial control procedures, systems and processes, regular reviewing them for enhancements
  • Co-ordinate and oversee the annual audit and liaise with the auditors
  • Work alongside the finance business partners to drive commercial decision making

The person

  • You must hold a formal accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Good breadth of management and financial reporting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills. - Power BI would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of IFRS 16 would be advantageous
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
