Finance Manager

Forge Talent are working with Logistics business based on the outskirts of Manchester who are recruiting a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Completion of month end close, ensuring accuracy and within globally set timelines (3 working days)
• Driving continuous improvement of working processes across the management accounts team, and wider finance department where needed.
• The key liaison between the finance team and wider business.
• Work with business controllers with annual budget and monthly forecast submissions.
• Provide monthly KPI reporting to the Head of Finance.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and complex journals are handled to a high standard.
• Work closely with operational teams and assist with queries from an accounting perspective.
• Manage a team of 6.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or QBE)
• Logistics/Distribution/Manufacturing background.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Staff management experience is a must.

Salary & Benefits:

• £45,000-£50,000
• 26 days plus bank holidays
• Company Pension (8% matched)
• Hybrid- 4 days in the office with 1 from home
