Finance Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide immediate support to our manufacturing client based in Folkestone, Kent. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and highly skilled finance professional who can quickly adapt to new environments and drive financial performance. You would be required to commit to an office based setting. 

• Oversee the finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Ensure timely completion of all statutory financial obligations, including VAT returns and year-end accounts.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions as required.
• Lead and mentor finance team members, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and systems.

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and business acumen.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable or Qualified by experience or studying towards an accountancy qualification will be considered.
