Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Finance Manager with ACCA or ACA qualifications, who is ready to tackle an array of financial responsibilities within a dynamic team. This role calls for an individual who is both meticulous in their work and dedicated to their professional role.

As a key player in the team, you will be the cornerstone for all financial reporting activities and the preparation of statutory accounts, including any necessary consolidations. Your role will also involve managing the treasury functions and leading a small yet effective team of accounting staff. Additionally, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining robust relationships with our group's bankers, insurers, and external auditors.

Beyond these core financial duties, your influence will also permeate other aspects of the organisation. You will assist in developing forecasts and procedures that aid in making strategic operational decisions. Your contributions will be essential in areas such as HR, IT, Marketing, and Health & Safety, making your role pivotal to multiple facets of the business.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and presenting detailed monthly management accounts.
• Engaging directly with directors and divisional managers to discuss and align on financial outcomes.
• Generating rolling budgets and crafting precise cash flow forecasts to guide the management of company finances.
• Coordinating with group auditors to ensure full compliance and accuracy in statutory accounts.
• Handling payroll, evaluating financial proposals for asset purchases, and overseeing the essential duties of the Company Secretary.
