About the Role:
As a Financial Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in steering the financial helm of the UK operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the business.
- Crafting financial strategies through forecasting capital, facilities, and staffing needs.
- Conducting meticulous budgeting and financial planning.
- Ensuring adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
- Identifying and navigating financial risks and opportunities.
- Generating regular reports and summaries of financial activities.
- Collaborating with various departments to align financial and business objectives.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with HMRC, financial service providers, and partners.
Skills & Experience
We are seeking a candidate who embodies the following qualities:
- Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certified.
- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Proven track record in a managerial role within the media industry.
- Exceptional decision-making skills and leadership prowess.
- Strong analytical acumen and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with financial software and MS Office suite.
