Finance Manager | Interim | Remote Working | Local Government

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority to recruit an Interim Finance Manager on an initial 6 month interim basis (strong possibility for extension). The role will be responsible for;

  • Providing value-adding business partnering to key service areas
  • Leading and developing a small Finance team
  • Supporting various projects, being the Finance lead and advising stakeholders on financial positions of projects
  • Identifying and driving process improvements
  • Building influential relationships with key stakeholders across the Council
  • Supporting the development of effective financial strategies

The person;

  • CCAB/CIMA qualified, or equivalent
  • Experience within Local Government Finance
  • Ability to support project teams
