Within this creative interior design company, this "hands-on", highly communicative, commercial Financial Controller role will involve all aspects of project profitability, budgets and forecasts, cash flow, project profitability, credit control and ledgers control, payroll, together with company fleet /insurance/ IT system including:

  • support the production and project management teams with information to enable accurate estimating and provide relevant reports regarding profitability of client project contracts.
  • oversee the accurate and complete posting of transactions including preparation of monthly payroll.
  • produce timely management reports to enable comparison of monthly performance to budgets and prior years.
  • prepare annual budgets and cash flow forecasts and report against both on a monthly basis.
  • co-ordinate year-end financial reporting.
  • ensure all matters of compliance, corporate governance, risk and treasury management are given appropriate priority.
  • be an excellent communicator with an ability to make a solid contribution to the senior management team as well as to the commercial success of the business.

You are

ACA/ACCA /CIMA or AAT QBE qualified with a strong commercial approach and upbeat communication skills, looking for a "stand-alone" Financial Controller position within a small creative company. Office based 4 days a week, you will live locally to Wimbledon or with a decent transport link to this South London location.
