Reed Finance is working alongside a well established and highly reputable manufacturing company based in Whitby to find a driven and ambitious Finance Manager.

The role will require collaboration with other departments; Project Management, Purchasing, Site 

Operations and Directors to provide financial insights, optimise project financials and drive the overall financial performance of the company.

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategies to support 

the Company's ongoing viability. The role is critical within the business to ensure the successful 

execution of projects whilst maintaining the profitability and financial stability of the business.

The main function of the role is to manage the Accounts team which requires expertise in accurate 

transactional record keeping as well as ensuring the accurate and efficient completion of routine tasks so that timely financial analysis can be carried out.

To be considered for this role you will have proven experience (over 5 years) in financial management within industry, ideally manufacturing with exposure to long-term projects and cost analysis.

Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, budget management.

Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis using spreadsheets and financial software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and project stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing a finance team.

Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically, contributing to the success of projects and overall business growth.
