You're an ambitious accountant, ready to step into your first No.1 role as Finance Manager.

But you're looking for something that goes beyond just finance?

You're looking for that next step up in your career, and you're someone who would be proud to know you're making a difference to the lives of many people in Teesside.

Micro-management and handholding don't work for you, you have the confidence and ability to work autonomously and make decisions, and you can be sure you'll get ownership of your role here.

This role is 3 days a week which means that you have time to recharge, concentrate on a hobby or simply spend time with family or friends. They do however ask for some flexibility where you will be required to work extra hours every 4 weeks when presenting to board members. You will be paid for these additional hours!

You'll get hybrid working where you'll work half of your time in the office and the other half at home or you can simply work 3 days in the office if this is what you prefer.

You will be qualified or part qualified and have practical experience in preparing management accounts, financial information, forecasting and the ability to sign off accounts each month and annually.

You'll be a storyteller, able to present your data to key stakeholders in a way that they can understand and make informed decisions.

This may be your first step up into a No.1 role, but you'll have experience in a role where you have made decisions and used your initiative.

You'll be highly organised, driven and able to deal with tight timescales.

Experience working in not-for-profit or public sector would be advantageous!
