Finance Manager
Volante Group are very proud to have partnered with this small Charity which provides sheltered accommodation to the aged poor. Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Manager.
Duties will include the following: -
- Lead the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
- Create annual budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the leadership team and ensure through regular monitoring that budgets are managed and controlled throughout the year through the management accounts.
- Preparation of the annual financial statements in accordance with the Charity SORP, including managing the external audit.
- Funding and treasury management e.g. long-term financial planning, portfolio management, funding arrangements etc. including monitor and manage cashflow.
- Be responsible for the recruitment, supervision, and effective performance management of the finance team (4 staff).
The client is looking for the following pre-requisites: -
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA Qualified Accountant with 5 years senior accounting experience gained ideally within the Charity/Housing sectors.
- Demonstrable experience in preparing statutory accounts and managing external auditors (Charity SORP Knowledge Desirable)
- At least 2 years Staff Management, demonstrating leadership and team motivation.
