Working for a leading Education establishment in Taunton.


You will be responsible for executing the financial tasks including the day to day running of the finance office, audit related works, preparing reports and forecasts, budgets and managing HMRC returns and payroll.
The main duties of the role are as follows;

  • Manage the finance team
  • Prepare the monthly management accounts, including balance sheets
  • Manage the annual audit and prepare audit files
  • Prepare the annual Statement for Financial Activities and Balance Sheets
  • Prepare monthly cash statements and aged debtor analysis
  • Prepare cashflow statements
  • Intercompany accounts
  • Prepare group VAT returns
  • Report on investment portfolios
  • Accurately managing accruals and prepayments and reporting for audits



What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive financial background. Ideally fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) although we will happily speak to candidates who are Qualified by Experience, you must have previous monthly managements accounts and financial statements experience and have looked after multi-site operations.
