Leading global independent retail operator based in the North West with operations at over 5,600 sites across Continental Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and Australia is looking for a French speakingFinance Manager. This is a permanent role within the accounting and finance team.

ROLE of Finance Manager:

  • Take ownership of all finance aspects of the largest revenue generating category: costs, overheads, fixed assets, revenue
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and provide first input into monthly management accounts
  • Presentation of monthly numbers and provide senior management with concise and clear updates and ensure all issues are escalated in a timely manner
  • Support Financial Controller in ensuring strong month end controls and adherence to deadlines to support wider group reporting requirements
  • Support the understanding and investigation of variance analysis relating to actuals vs budgets and forecasts and work closely with the commercial team
  • Develop strong cross functional partnerships with across various departments (Fuel Merchandising Operations and Maintenance Payroll HR)
  • Other adhoc projects and tasks as required

PROFILE:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Audit experience.
  • CIMA/ACCA or similar
  • Experience of IFRS standards
  • Strong analytical communication skills
  • French would be a bonus but is not essential

SALARY:

  • £55 to £60k negotiable and according to skills and experience plus bonus
  • Very good benefits and working environment
