Finance Manager

Our client are an very well known manufacturing business operating across the world. They already operate on a global scale and have a large level of funding and a highly competitive product which makes this opportunity so exciting. They have already achieved some great success within the UK and now looking to further grow.

We are now looking to hire a Finance Manager who will be responsible for Accounts Payable and Account Receivable, Management Accounting, Cash Management, Reporting and Reconciliations, both manual and automated. You will be responsible for managing all things finance related within their region and will have the opportunity to be instrumental in designing and implementing new processes and/or systems to benefit the overall structure of the department.

With a hybrid working model, my client offers an excellent opportunity for someone that is passionate about working for a growing company. There is the opportunity to progress with business whilst working with some industry leading professionals.

Qualifications for Finance Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accountancy or Business Technical/Professional Qualifications
  • Experience in reporting
  • Advanced level in Excel and MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • An eye for detail with particular emphasis on ensuring all records are accurately kept and reconciled
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently to tight deadlines in a highly pressured environment
  • Ability to manage own workload and conflicting priorities including stakeholder management
  • Team player with a positive outlook and 'can-do' attitude

Other Duties Outside of Month End

  • Daily Cashflow
  • Sell foreign currency to cover outgoings in GBP account
  • PAYE/Class 1ANIC/P11D()b)/Corporation Tax
  • Preparation for annual budgets (around Oct/Nov)
  • Preparation for annual audit (around Feb/Mar)
  • Any monthly National Statistics or GOV surveys
  • Credit Control
  • Check and authorise ad hoc payments in the bank
  • Maintain company HR system (Citation) add starters or make leavers when required
  • Send out offer letters, contracts when required
  • Upload any documents onto people’s timeline into Citation
  • Work with the Director on maintaining CAPEX projects and spreadsheet is always up to date
  • Maintain length of service spreadsheet and order vouchers when required
  • Order of new company credit cards when required
  • Approve all none purchase invoices and all transport invoices through automated system
