This growing London based property development company are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager, who will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the finance team, managing the flow of work, supporting. Motivating and tracking their performance in the overall delivery of the companies’ objectives.

Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, your daily duties will include:

  • Prepare annual statutory financial statements including balance sheet reconciliations for Auditors, the monthly management accounts, VAT & CIS Returns and annual budgets for various parts of the Group.
  • Carrying out the preparation of group consolidated accounts for UK entities under regulatory requirements including IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Proactive cash control; overseeing the credit control, sales, and purchase ledger; ensuring the team are accurately recording data for reporting purposes.
  • Undertaking debt control responsibilities, ensuring aged debtors do not exceed set parameters and bad debts minimised through recovery procedures.
  • Central management of bank accounts including overseeing of timely reconciliations & monitoring cash balances to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Oversee the finance team to deliver on the objectives of the business as outlined in the job review.
  • Support the Head of Finance with the development, implementation and monitoring of processes & procedures which will evolve to meet the changing needs of a growing business,

The successful candidate will be a newly qualified, finalist accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), or part qualified with significant relevant ' hands-on’ experience. You must have significant experience with a broad finance role that has covered both the financial/management accounting and reporting requirements of a growing business.

You must possess excellent supervisory and leadership experience from a similar sized organisation, ensuring that the team is motivated to deliver the tasks against the deadlines.

It is imperative that you have strong interpersonal and communication with the ability to support and communicate with senior internal and external stakeholders.

It is essential that you have excellent systems skills including varied finance systems including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks whilst being a excellent experienced using Excel.
