Harmonic are delighted to be working on a retained basis with one of the most innovative, fast growth Ad Tech businesses in the search for their next Finance Manager in an exciting new era for the company.

The Business:

Having grown year on year since 2017, our client is well placed to become one of the largest players within their space. With a strong international presence, the business is also well backed via Private Equity funding, with further fundraising rounds potentially in pipeline.

Our client operate an AI content platform that generates and optimises content to enable a higher rate of clicks, conversion and revenue for the businesses that they work with. These include some of the leading names in their respective fields, ranging from fashion, e-commerce, retail and more. With a forward thinking mindset, our client are driven to change the game and be at the forefront of their industry.

The Role:

Reporting into a Finance Director that has a fantastic reputation who places a high emphasis on development and training, this role will have a great mix of responsibilities. There will be a high level of autonomy on offer, while also line managing a junior accounts assistant. With headcount at 90 for the business, the business partnering will allow exposure to a range of stakeholders in the business.

Main duties:

• Prepare consolidated monthly accounts including actual to budget analysis
• Run the purchasing and expenses function for all departments. Tracking spend against both departmental and annual budgets.
• Business partner with department head across the business, such as Go-to-Market, Marketing & Technology, on their specific budgets and best-use-of spend
• Support the CFO on annual budgeting processes and mid-year reforecast processes to help predict the future of the business
• Run ad-hoc analysis & reporting for the leadership team to solve business problems in real-time
• Continuously look to improve our processes to remove inefficiencies and improve finance and company performance
• Support the FD and CFO during the annual audit, acting as a liaison with the audit team.

What we need to see (essential):

• ACCA / ACA / CIMA Fully Qualified
• Strong Excel skills

What we need to see (bonus):

• Tech savvy nature and interest in Artificial Intelligence

Salary: £60k - £65k + great benefits package
