Finance Manager Payroll

Based near Barnet, North London our fast-growing client seeks a qualified by experience accountant to join them as a Finance Manager on a permanent basis, with 5 days required in the office per week. *Means of transport will be required to reach site daily.

This job would suit an experienced accountant qualified by experience, day to day dealing with multi-currencies and transacting FX transactions. The Finance Manager overseeing global payments and payroll operations, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising payments and payroll processes across multiple international locations.

The successful individual will possess extensive experience in foreign exchange (FX), international payments and managing payroll functions on a global scale, with a strong understanding of multicurrency payment and payroll processing. They must have good knowledge of Sage 300 or similar accounting software an advantage. Excellent MS Excel skills are also essential.

Job responsibilities:

• Instructing all cash payments (except Germany) across company's 15+ bank accounts in multiple currencies including (GBP, EUR,USD,CHF,PLN,SAR,MAD,BGN,RON), and multiple countries and updating cash flow file accordingly.
• Reconciliation of client statements received to Accounts Receivable and cash flow file.
• Reconciliation of aged debtor listing to cash flow for completeness on monthly basis.
• Updating the cash flow and payment blotter for those payments, whilst reconciling projected bank balances to actual bank balances
• Instruction of FX transactions to fund those bank accounts from available cash balances un-der guidance of Finance Director (FD)
• Support the FD's operation of the company's two factoring facilities (UK and Germany) - which would include requesting customer credit limit increases, currency limit changes, investigation of concentration retentions, unallocated cash etc.
• Administration of the payroll in 7+ countries - by submitting payroll files to local accountants or chasing for wage files downloaded from government portals. Handling queries related to Overtime payments, changes to tax codes, access to Payroll portals and so on.
• Update cash flow with the correct wages and taxes on monthly basis.
• Support the FD in the production of monthly management information by performing inter-company reconciliations and triggering revaluation processes in G/L.
