Finance Manager - Part Qualified

Meraki Talent are happy to support with the appointment of a permanent Finance Manager based in West Lothian paying £30,000 - £32,000 plus full study support, bonus, paid overtime and strong benefits.

The Role

The position of Finance Manager will support the Finance Director and become part of a well-established & highly performing finance function. The key components of the role will include:

• Supporting the Finance Director
• Taking ownership of various business units in relation to:
  
  • Assisting with management accounts
  • Feeding into year-end close & accounts
  • VAT returns
  • Month-end: accruals, prepayments, journals etc.
  • Transactional finance
  • Bank account management & reconciliations
  • Developing processes, procedures, controls, automation and systems for transactional finance

Candidate Profile

We are keen to engage with candidates that meet the following criteria:

• 2 years practical finance experience
• Experience of supporting multiple business units or worked in an accountancy practice/firm facilitating several clients
• Experience of management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping
