Finance Manager / Management Accountant | Real Estate Investment / Development Business | Central London | £60-65,000

This dynamic growing Real Estate Investment / Development Business is looking for Finance Manager / Management Accountant to support the Group Financial Controller in producing accountants for a number of its core business entities and a key property development business within the group, Key tasks include:

• Responsibility for the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts for key business units in the group
• Key monthly reporting including posting of accruals and prepayment, variance analysis, review of P&L accounts, balance sheet recs and revenue recognition recs
• Review the suitability of reporting to the business and deliver enhancements
• Monthly WIP and debtors reconciliations within the development business in the group.
• Assistance with the forecast and cash flow projections across the business.
• Review, monitor and update monthly and quarterly billing for the core businesses
• Assistance with debtor collections and liaison with the team and wider business to endure all debts are paid when due
• Assistance in driving through a strong control environment across the team including review and implementation of new processes and controls
• Help execute an efficient and effective year end audit process including maintaining the relationship with the external auditors, ensuring deliverables are provided and audit queries responded to in a timely fashion

You will be an ambitious Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACA, CIMA) with strong financial reporting skills and be used to producing accounts across different business units as well as the ability to recommend improvements to reporting. A strong eye for detail is essential as well as key communication and systems skills. The finance function is a close knit team and its important for you to fit in with the culture of the department.
