Finance Manager
Location: Central London
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + benefits
Are you an experienced and qualified accountant looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of London? TalentEdge are currently supporting a prodigious global hotel group who seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team.
This role offers brilliant autonomy, leading a team of 4 (qualified and part-qualified) and will aid the continuous improvement of the financial reporting and processes. Located in a modern office with excellent transport links, their office is a key support to all the business’ hotels and central functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Take ownership of the end-to-end Capex reporting process
- Oversee the completion of financial statements for group entities, providing detailed review and comments to ensure timely sign-off (IFRS reporting)
- Ensure implementation and compliance with core financial controls
- Maintain adherence to Group Accounting Policy and recommend updates as necessary
- Act as the main point of contact for the Parent Company finance team, ensuring they receive all necessary information
- Manage external and internal stakeholder relationships, including auditors, actuaries, and third-party management
- Lead and develop a team of four through training, appraisals, and regular one-on-one sessions
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years PQE ideally in a Group function
- Strong Excel skills; experience with SAP preferred but not essential
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with IFRS for producing statutory accounts for multiple entities
- Proven line management experience
- Hospitality and Leisure experience desirable but not essential
