A leading research & ratings company who provides comprehensive, analytical and rating information are looking to recruit a Finance Manager into their growing teams. The company offer a range of research, business analytics and rating information to global professional firms and are widely regarded as the market leader in their specialized field.
This role sits within a Central Finance function of 12 and reports to the Financial Controller. They are ideally looking for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant with 12 months PQE experience to take on a range of financial and management accounting duties. It is a prerequisite that you have previous in practice audit experience as you will be responsible for taking ownership of several key areas of the audit process.
Specifics of the role will include -
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and variance analysis.
- Manage the audit process, which is complex due to the nature and scope of the international business.
- Directly manage 2 reports who looking after day to day transactions, ledgers and system reporting.
- Play an active role in the preparation of business budgets and forecasting.
- Help prepare tax filings including VAT and US sales tax across multiple states.
- Support the FC with a range of projects and help drive change and departmental improvements as the company continues to grow and develop.
