  • Responsible for all aspects of the Company’s accounts including VAT returns, month end accounts,

financial analysis, POs’ credit control, utilities

  • Reconcile bank statements and petty cash account and ensure adequate cash flow for bank transactions
  • Control Fixed Asset Register and process depreciation journals
  • Reporting:

o Provision of Management Accounts within agreed deadlines highlighting any areas of concern -

margins, overheads etc.

o Sales forecasting

  • Prepare monthly Pension reports and upload to relevant pension company
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT return to HMRC
  • Reconcile overseas sales and purchases in line with HMRC VAT & C79 VAT requirements
  • Monitor currency exchange rates and purchasing currency in line with MD approval
  • Liaise and co-operate with Auditors providing information as requested after year end and

process year end Journals

  • Manage and monitor Debtor, Creditor and Nominal Controls
  • Reconcile company credit card expenditure against bank statement
  • Reconcile foreign currency accounts
  • Calculate and process any company rebates due from suppliers
  • Manage financial Year End PAYE, NIC, P11D & Other Taxation issues
  • Responsible for company liability insurances and renewals
  • Responsible for company utilities supply contracts
  • Supervise, motivate, train and develop the members of the accounts team.
  • Liaise with other departments as required to ensure the flow of information, success and achieving company objectives
  • Provide support to management team on all Financial Matters
  • Contribute positive ideas to improving existing processes and procedures
