Pure are pleased to be exclusively supporting our client in the hunt for a Finance Director Designate to be based at their head office in Maldon, Essex.

This newly created role will have you reporting into the owners and senior leadership team of a high growth business with an exceptional reputation.

We are looking for a senior experienced finance leader that will take ownership of the reporting to deliver first class information that will in turn enhance the performance of the business. Leading a small size team, you will take responsibility for all management and financial reporting and can be both hands-on and strategic.

Owning the numbers means you will be responsible for leading the team to deliver accurate, timely and meaningful month-end and year-end reporting, but also the consolidated forecasting and budgets.

This role has been created for an exceptional candidate to help support strategic growth and in turn grow into a Finance Director.

The Candidate

Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Experience within a similar level senior finance role
Background in retail, FMCG or Supply Chain would be beneficial
Team management experience required
Financial reporting experience including month-end, year-end statutory reporting and consolidated budgeting and forecasts
Track record implementing strong financial controls and processes
Driven and open to change
Outstanding communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders

The role will offer hybrid working with 3 to 4 days per week office based and on top of a salary range of £75,000 to £90,000 equity will also be available.
