Finance Business Partner - Hybrid Working - On Site Parking - Newcastle City Centre

Nigel Wright are thrilled to be supporting a reputable high growth organisation in their search for a Finance Business Partner. This Finance Business Partner role is a newly created role due to continued growth within the business. Joining a strong existing team with a wealth of knowledge, the successful candidate will be responsible for business partnering with other departments, providing key insight into operational performance to non-finance colleagues. 

The Role
The Finance Business Partner duties will include:
  • Set annual budgets in conjunction with budget holders and reforecast throughout the year as required;
  • Produce monthly management accounts , including detailed and accurate variance analysis and commentary.
  • Distribute individual monthly reports to budget holders
  • Work closely with relevant budget holders to provide analysis and deliver insight into their monthly/quarterly/annual financial data;
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed at month end
  • Prepare payments 
  • Monitor football debtors and creditors ledgers
  • Any other ad hoc analysis work as required;
  • Any other reasonable duties

The Person
The requirements for the Finance Business Partner role are:
  • Qualified/part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant. AAT qualified/qualified by experience may be considered
  • Experience in a Management Accounting or Finance Business Partner role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to advise and influence senior operational business leaders;
  • Ability to effectively summarise and interpret data;
  • Strong Microsoft excel skills;
  • Experienced in financial performance reporting.
