SRM are exclusively partnering a leading FTSE based in central London, looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team. Working within a high calibre team of business partners, this crucial role will focus on supporting the central cost centre leaders, departmental heads and their teams. You will be tasked with ensuring effective cost management, timely budget delivery and accuracy of cost forecasting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for producing the monthly management accounts for allocated business units.
  • Develop good working relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. CTO, HRD, Legal Counsel) providing commercial and financial input where required.
  • Ensuring contract profitability is maximised and working capital management is optimised.
  • Provide analysis and insight on contract profitability, highlighting high and low margin contracts for discussion with relevant operational managers.
  • Responsible to help deliver detailed rolling forecast and annual budget, ready for presentation to senior management.
  • Support with the ongoing Division transformation project
  • Develop associated reporting within the function to support functional heads
  • Identify and drive cost saving initiatives across the division and effectively challenging stakeholders on their spend

The successful candidate should have strong communication skills, have experience of building effective working relationships with senior, non-finance stakeholders and delivering 'value-add’ support. The preference here is to have a fully qualified / finalist level accountant (ACA/CA/CIMA/ACCA) and experience of working within a complex, matrix structured organisation would be preferable.
