Salary: £40,000
Location: Liverpool City Centre (Hybrid 3 Days WFH)

Purpose
The Finance Business Partner holds a crucial position within the organisation, offering expert financial advice, support, and guidance to senior leaders and budget holders.
Their responsibilities include preparing precise and timely management accounts in alignment with current best practices and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Management: Ensure the delivery and production of financial and performance management information, including budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting.
- Relationship Building: Establish effective relationships with budget managers to ensure financial implications are understood in significant decision-making across the organisation. Additionally, challenge and support decision-makers.
- Financial Advice and Support: Provide financial management advice and support to operational managers. This includes recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling spending with the budget, analysing financial performance, and making strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Procurement Policy Implementation: Advise operational managers on the implementation of procurement policy and procedure.
- Annual Report and Accounts: Complete delegated annual report and accounts tasks.
- Organisational Change Support: Assist with organisational change programs and efficiency reviews across the organisation.
Experience
- Creating Financial Management Information: Prior experience of generating financial management information.
- Influencing Management Decision-Making: Experience using financial information to influence management decision-making.
- Business Case Construction: Proficiency in constructing business cases and/or funding proposals.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration: Experience working with people from all levels of an organisation, as well as internal and external communication.
- Confidential Information Handling: Understanding of working with confidential information.
