Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a talented finance professional for a new role within a dynamic services group.  The  Finance Business Partner will join an experienced  finance team in Manchester and play a pivotal role in supporting and partnering various internal and external stakeholders across Europe.  You will provide financial insights, analysis, and strategic guidance to drive informed decision-making, improve performance, and maximize profitability. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and commercially-minded finance professional to contribute to the success and growth of the organisation. 

The role would suit a qualified management accountant wanting to take on a more influential, commercial role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Prepare accurate and timely management reports and performance metrics for relevant stakeholders.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to provide actionable insights to business units
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to understand their financial needs and objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial guidance and support to drive strategic decision-making.
• Proactively identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
• Lead the annual budgeting process by working closely with department heads to develop realistic financial plans aligned with business goals.
• Monitor and track budget performance, providing variance analysis and recommendations to support financial control and accountability.
• Assist in the monthly forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business expectations.

You will ideally be a qualified accountant or finalist with good all round management accounting skills and possess the drive and personality to influence key decision makers.
