Finance Business Partner | Central Manchester | Media/ Entertainment | Up to £50,000 | Hybrid working

Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to working with a marketing leading organisation that operate in the Media/ Entertainment sector and based in Manchester City Centre.

On the back of continuous growth, we are looking for a commercially focused, qualified accountant looking to work in an analytical role to support the continual development of commercial finance in this fantastic business. Through both organic and acquisition growth, this organisation is continuing to provide the benchmark in the industry for its quality and offering.

The position will hold a integral role in the ongoing development of the FP&A/ Commercial team as you work closely with Director level internal stakeholder to help identify and understand key drivers of revenue performance and communicate this effectively.

I am looking to speak with people have proven experience working in a commercial/ analytical role with evident skills working in a business partnering capacity.

Location: Central Manchester

Salary: Up to £50,000

Responsibilities
  • Support the Divisional Managing Director and Head of Commercial Finance in the weekly and monthly forecasting.
  • Identify and understand key drivers to revenue performance and communicate with stakeholders across the UK.
  • Forecast and report accurate weekly and monthly figures, alongside identifying key trends and patterns to further understand EBITDA performance.
  • Business partner with Divisional leads.
  • Report monthly performance communicating to key stakeholders on variances and potential impact on the current forecast.
  • Provide ad-hoc, insightful analysis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders in other divisions.
  • Seek to challenge and improve reporting.
Person Specification:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) with experience in commercial finance.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Proven experience in a business partnering setting.
  • Excellent leadership and management skillset.
  • High level of organisation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
