Finance Business Partner - Controlling

Butler Rose is delighted to exclusively support a globally recognized top-tier premium brand in recruiting a Finance Business Partner. The role will primarily focus on controlling activities and will report to the divisional Head of Finance.

We are seeking a highly motivated and confident individual who can effectively guide the division towards achieving its short and long-term profitability targets. This includes managing all associated monthly reporting, short-term forecasts, operational planning, and critically evaluating business cases.

Drawing upon your extensive knowledge and experience in finance and controlling, you will take charge of delivering both the monthly financial reporting and planning processes for the division (with a turnover exceeding £1 billion). This responsibility extends to internal operations and liaising with the parent company abroad. Additionally, you will steer the business by providing recommendations, delivering relevant analysis, and preparing presentation materials. Furthermore, you will identify risks related to plan achievement and opportunities based on actuals development, propose corrective measures, and challenge operational areas as necessary.

Your role will encompass managing revenue controlling for the division, including financial planning, monthly closing activities, and business case evaluations. Leveraging your experience, you will provide credible commercial analysis of financial reporting and effectively communicate with senior management to proactively make recommendations on all financial matters.

This Finance Business Partner role will work with senior stakeholders in the organisation within and away from finance, and will be highly visible to the SMT.

Ideally our client is seeking the below attributes / skills:

• Qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Good IT capability with excellent Excel knowledge as well proficiency in data analytics tools
• Confident and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders away from finance
• Good presentation skills and the ability to communicate concisely
• Prior experience of working within a fast-paced innovative environment
