We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Analyst to Join Resource Solutions as a Workforce Consultant. As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Resource Solutions and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.

  1. Purpose

Client are currently defining, documenting and installing new reporting processes to support the transition to IFRS 17 reporting.

This role will, through working with key stakeholders, support delivery of these and other business readiness activities in accordance with the overall roadmap to support this transition, enabling to meet regulatory and Head Office Reporting deadlines.

  1. Dimensions
  • Good experience working as a business analyst within financial services preferably insurance or banking, ideally across Financial, Actuarial or regulatory driven programmes.
  • Experience in End to End general insurance IFRS financial reporting environment.
  • Experience in process documentation and identification and progression of Business Readiness activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to influence challenging stakeholders up to executive level.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and organisational structures.
  • Understanding of working in change delivery, milestone and deliverables based programmes
  1. Key Result Areas.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify all impacted areas and agree Business Readiness activities
  • Agree Business Readiness timeline and identify resources required to support activities
  • Agree checkpoints and exit criteria
  • Own key parts of the Business Readiness detailed plan and track progress, ensuring alignment with the roadmap
  • Assist in facilitation of the Business Readiness Working Group meetings and activities, ensuring any issues are escalated and resolved
  • Identify improvements in close activities to support revised Working Day Timetable targets
  • Ensure Finance Working Day Timetable accelerations are integrated with Actuarial Reserving Working Day Timetable accelerations (managed as a dependency via a separate project)

The role will involve working with key Finance and Actuarial Stakeholders and the HOR Change Team
