Finance Assistant

Do you have experience in finance administration and sales ledger? We have an opportunity for you to join a growing yet established business, covering their purchase ledger, sales ledger, and finance administration as part of their accounts team. As the finance assistant you'll be an integral part of our client's finance function, working closely with the finance manager to provide transactional finance support.

The role:

  • Purchase Ledger & supplier queries, matching and seeking authorisation of payments.
  • Checking purchase orders
  • Raising sales invoices & reconciling sales income.
  • Monitoring debtor days
  • Posting cash and banking figures daily
  • Administration of direct debits
  • Credit Control
  • Reconciliations
  • Assist in ad hoc tasks essential for the smooth operation of the finance department.

Requirements:

  • 1 year's experience in a finance role.
  • Confidence in using Excel.
