An opening has arisen for a meticulous and dedicated Finance Assistant in the leisure, travel & tourism industry based in Sutton Coldfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting and finance duties, providing essential support to the finance team.

Description

The Finance Assistant will;

• Respond to financial inquiries and provide financial expertise when required
• Downloading information and recording on relevant databases and trackers
• Housekeeping of data/files on local drive
• Email mailbox maintenance - high volume
• Processing of Real Estate Account invoices into property database
• Supporting Real Estate team with progress on workload backlog
• Adhoc duties assigned by team leader / team manager

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong ethics, with a high level of honesty and integrity
