About the Finance Assistant role

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven Finance Assistant to join our growing InfiniteCFO team!

You love working directly with clients on a variety of projects, ensuring that accurate records are maintained and helping improve clients current processes, including through the implementation of technology. You will be a great communicator with the ability to elicit the necessary information from our clients to ensure that transactions are correctly processed, as well as being able to help clients adopt new ways of working. You will work with the Operational Finance team to implement standard processes, creating capacity in the Infinite team to onboard new clients.

You’ll be based in our London office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but will have the ability to work remotely from a home-based office on other days. You will be happy to occasionally travel for client visits.

Role responsibilities

  • Processing Sales transactions for our clients, from sales order to invoice to a high level of accuracy
  • Processing Purchase transactions for our clients from requisition to order to a high level of accuracy
  • Processing Sales orders through to receipt & purchase requisition through to payment
  • Working with our Associate CFO’s to onboard new clients and implement our standard processes and automation tools, helping the client understand and adopt them
  • Working with the wider team to develop better ways of operating, implementing processes and tools to continuously improve the accuracy and efficiency of transaction processing
  • Working collaboratively with the wider InfiniteCFO team

Qualifications & experience

  • Financial background
  • AAT qualified our equivalent
  • Knowledge of an accounting system and associated transaction processing tools
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and processing accuracy
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to client needs
  • Enthusiastic, and highly motivated to provide an exceptional experience to our clients
  • Initiative and a proactive approach to tasks
  • Strong time management with the ability to schedule and arrange work to accomplish goals
