We have been assigned to recruit, on behalf of our Client, a conscientious Finance Assistant to join their busy and growing team.This is a challenging and rewarding position that will require you to work within an office-based environment and assist in all areas of finance for the company.

This is a full-time role and the hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am-5.30 pm with an hour for lunch (Effectively a 40 hours week).

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager,the Finance Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate VAT accounting
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Inputting supplier invoices
  • Conducting supplier statement reconciliations
  • Collaborating with colleagues and customers to facilitate prompt invoice payments.
  • Assisting the Management Accountant with monthly accounts preparation.
  • Support in payroll preparation
  • Daily use of Microsoft Excel.

The Finance Assistant we are looking to recruit will ideally have numerical competency, a good eye for detail and have proven previous experience in Finance (Ideally 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable and or accounts receivable). Must complete a background check in compliance with pre-employment policies. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively within a small team, with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships. Also, should be able to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

The salary offered is negotiable is depending on skill set. Applicants must have access to their own transport as the Client is not serviced by public transport services.
