Role: Finance Assistant - Quick Start

Permanent: Full-time (Hybrid - Fridays WFH)

Our Client is a Global Construction Agency working with a fantastic portfolio clients. They are looking to onboard a positive and pro-active Finance Assistant to their centralised team. Strong company culture where the employee is at the heart of the business. You would support the FC, FM and wider commercial business.

Finance Assistant KeyResponsibilities:

• Pre-checks and compliance for new supplier accounts before set-up on system
• Process all subcontractor and general supplier invoices and ensuring documentation is correctly recorded - allocated to projects or nominal codes
• Process weekly payment runs via BACS, following company approval processes
• Reconcile supplier and subcontractor statements
• Processing monthly expenses and credit cards
• Processing client invoices and credit control
• Assisting with year end audit around AP and AR

Finance Assistant Key Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Highly motivated and pro-active self-starter
• Proficient in Excel and IT systems
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good communication skills
• Construction industry experience preferred but not essential - understanding of project based service industry
