Orka Financial is partnering with a growing company based in Wallingford who are seeking to hire a Finance Assistant to join their growing finance team.

The Finance Assistant offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is currently studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualification and is looking to develop their skills in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense claims, and payment transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to gather financial data and provide support as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • AA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
