Finance Assistant

My client is a supply business based in Tameside. Due to an internal promotion they are recruiting this role into their vibrant and expanding finance team, this is an excellent opportunity with a stable business that can offer development in your role.

As a Finance Assistant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional accounting duties. This will include managing the purchase ledger from start to finish, processing high volumes of invoices onto the system, dealing with supplier queries and statement reconciliations and making payments, you will collect cash from customers ensuring a consistent cash flow into the business and avoiding bad debts wherever possible, as well as reconciling bank accounts and managing the petty cash.

This role will suit a candidate who has experience in a varied transactional role and is looking to continue developing their existing skills and experience with a role that will offer variety and exposure to new accounting processes. The salary on offer is paying up to £26,000 with a performance based bonus on top.
