Finance Assistant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join our client located in North Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis. For the right person, the client is offering:

Up to £23,700 plus benefits

• Responsible for ensuring all invoices are raised in adherence with the billing run timetable
• Ensure all invoices are administered to the correct party on the day of production
• Notify Income Analyst of any issues incurred during a billing run
• Responsible for the accuracy of fixed billing data in the system
• Provide support and advice to other teams in relation to the billing procedures if needed
• Monitor the Invoicing mailbox and ensure all requests are actioned or passed to the relevant team member
• Ensure new starters are processed as requested within one week of receipt
• Process all leavers within the month the notification is received
• Responsible for the creation of the monthly manual accrual journal, ensuring all back up data checked and stored and processing once approved by a senior team member
• Responsible for ensuring that all information and files relating to the above are saved in agreed formats & folders

Person specification:

• Previous experience within a similar role is desirable but not an essential
• Proactive attitude
• Keen to learn
• Enthusiastic
• High attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Computer literate and confident with computer systems
