Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and organised Finance Assistant to join this company’s team. You’ll be responsible for providing support to their finance department assisting with various financial tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in finance and contribute to the success of this thriving organisation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of AP and Bank reconciliation
  • Invoice processing
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Working closely with purchasing department to resolve invoice queries
  • Concur Expense administration, including monthly reconciliation against credit card statements and employee query resolution.
  • Administration and reconciliation of cash advances
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures
  • Ownership for the supplier administration and onboarding process
  • Processing and reconciliation of monthly supplier payment runs
  • Processing of daily bank transactions and reconciliations
  • Ad hoc administrative cover for Reception and other office duties.

You may also be required to undertake additional tasks or duties from time to time and which are reasonably within your capabilities.

Person Specification:

  • Strong Excel skills, including working knowledge of a fully integrated ERP system, preferably IFS but not essential.
  • Experience of high-volume invoice processing
