Are you a Finance Assistant, Or Sales / Purchase Ledger Clerk, possibly studying the AAT or ACCA, with around 1 - 2 years experience (or more) looking for your next challenge? Are you keen to work in the finance team of a rapidly growing accountancy firm that specialises in working with high profile Media, Creative, Film & TV clients? Are you either currently working in an accountancy firm in a client facing role and looking to move to an in house internal finance role in a medium size accountancy practice firm? Or are you currently already working in industry in a Finance Assistant or Sales Ledger / Purchase Ledger position and looking for more responsibility and faster progression? Are you keen to continue your career in a relaxed, forward thinking, modern and entrepreneurial professional practice firm based in a prime location in Central London in a newly created Internal Finance Team? Based in a newly created team due to the firm growing so rapidly and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day processing of the firms bookkeeping transactions and client account services. Specific responsibilities will include: uploading bank entries, bank reconciliations, processing invoices, taking client card payments, uploading client payments to the bank, reconciliation of client accounts, credit control, assisting the finance manager with management accounts and VAT returns, and other ad hoc duties as required. The firm uses CCH software so experience of this would be beneficial. The firm offers flexible working and allows all staff to work one day a week from home and also offers flexible start and finish times. The firm will also offer Study Support, but study would need to be taken evenings or weekends as you will be required to work in the role 5 days a week.

To be considered for this interesting and newly created position due to rapid growth (April 2024) you must be a Finance Assistant, or Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk with 1 to 2 years experience minimum. You must either currently be working in industry and looking for your next challenge, or you will be working in practice in a client facing role and looking to move into your first internal finance position. You must have experience of most of the above duties, including bookkeeping / processing duties. You must possess fast and accurate data processing skills, work to high standards, be able to meet tight deadlines, have a sense of humour and be a team player. Experience of a range of software packages, especially CCH, would be an advantage.
