My client is looking for a Finance Administrator

They are a growing organisation so there is certainly opportunity for progression. You will join a very busy community of staff dedicated giving 110% and supporting each other.

This is a high-functioning, fast-paced office. They are looking for a Finance Administrator who highly organised, personable, has exceptional attention to detail and can handle the pressure. Someone who is happy to pitch in and get their hands dirty.

To be successful in this role you will be personable, assertive and proactive and possess a keen interest in Finance. Thinking logically, organised, charisma and able to prioritise.

Salary: £30K basic

Hours of Work:

Mon-Thurs 7:45am-4:30pm, Fri 7:45am-3:30pm.Term Time Only + 2 weeks in August

This is not at hybrid opportunity

The successful candidate will

  • Very articulate
  • Excellent communication skills to include spellings and grammar

Finance Assistant

  • Placing orders for the organisation
  • Processing of invoices, raising to Purchase Orders
  • Dealing with queries from suppliers (including statements), debtors, budget holders and other staff
  • Card reconciliation
  • Filing, archiving, photocopying, etc. Maintaining filing system of financial reports
  • Providing administrative support to the Finance Manager
  • Asset tracking

Logistics Support

Responsible for managing timetables and duty rota is a jigsaw of moving classes, teachers, rooms and timings that is continuously evolving. Your role as Logistics Support will be to assist the Logistics Manager, to:

  • Create and manage the school duty rota. There are around 240 duties per day!
  • Arrange cover when staff are absent

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1 -2 years of admin
  • Strong communication, time-management skills
