Our client is a non-profit organisation working with people to support their health and wellbeing.  Established for over 30 years, they have provided services alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) colleagues in Surrey and its boarders. They are currently looking to recruit for an experienced part time Finance Assistant to work 16 hours per week. 
 
Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 per annum Pro Rata
 
Hours: 16 hours a week
 
Duration: FTC

Location – Camberley or Guildford
 
Within a small finance team you will support the Head of Finance and Resources in ensuring all financial aspects run smoothly and efficiently.  This is a hands on and varied role helping to produce quarterly management accounts and year end accounts to trial balance, maintaining and managing the sales ledger and purchase ledge functions, assisting with credit control, bank reconciliations and supporting the payroll assistant with monthly payroll and providing cover is their absence.

Our ideal applicant will have/be;  
  • Accounting / Finance background is essential
  • Experience in producing accounts to trial balance
  • Experience in purchase ledger including accruals and prepayments
  • Ideally you will have used Sage/TAS and worked with Excel spreadsheets
  • Able to multi task and able to maintain accuracy and work to strict deadlines
  • Happy to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
