Finance Analyst

We are seeking an IT Finance Analyst to work under the guidance of the IT Finance Manager. This role involves financial support, analysis, and the processing of invoices and purchase orders. The successful candidate will collaborate with various members of the IT team to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.

• Prepare and post monthly journals and supporting documents for month-end activities.
• Ensure invoices and recharges allocations are correct in General Ledgers and in line with accounting frameworks.
• Liaise with shared service finance teams regarding Accounts Payables, Receivables, and Inter-Company recharges.
• Support Project Managers and IT team members in procurement processes, including purchase order processing and creating good receipts.
• Assist in preparing periodic GIT working capital trackers and Capex Project performance trackers.
• Analyse capitalisable labour costs for Capex projects and investigate deviations from trends or budgets.
• Prepare monthly CAPEX reports for Portfolio Directors and Project Managers.
• Assist in maintaining the IT fixed assets register.
• Provide periodic and ad hoc financial and non-financial data analysis for the GIT leadership team.
• Support the Senior GIT finance team and the US ITK Tax department in preparing for audits.
• Assist in managing IT controls and undertake other ad hoc analyses as required.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• 3-4 years of work experience in finance or accounting, with IT Finance or financial services experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent.
• Energetic, motivated, and takes initiative with the capacity to anticipate and develop new processes independently.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, self-directed, and organised.
• Ability to meet multiple finite deadlines and balance competing priorities.
• Team player with the ability to partner with colleagues in multiple departments and geographic locations.
• Knowledge and experience in PeopleSoft Financials are essential.
