Elevation Accountancy and Finance is thrilled to collaborate with an exceptional business in the Doncaster area as they embark on the recruitment journey for a Finance Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to become part of a dynamic company that has recently undergone an acquisition and is now gearing up for exciting plans to propel the business to new heights. Whether you're qualified by experience or currently studying AAT, this role offers long-term progression right from the start.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handling new supplier accounts and product setups
  • Managing stock orders and processing purchase orders
  • Invoicing and reconciliation tasks for the purchase ledger
  • Receipting purchase orders and reconciling supplier statements
  • Organising monthly Bacs payments for suppliers
  • Setting up new customer accounts and performing credit insurance checks
  • Processing customer receipts and confirming PODs
  • Handling debt chasing activities and managing invoice queries
  • Processing credit notes and handling sales invoicing
  • Scanning PODs and managing customer inquiries
  • Performing bank reconciliations, including World Pay reconciliation
  • Conducting stock take reconciliations and assisting with year-end audits
  • Liaising with accountants and maintaining filing systems
  • Ensuring proper sorting and destruction of confidential documents

Person Specification:

  • Demonstrated experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Familiarity with Sage Line 50 is required
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
