We are looking to recruit a Finance Administrator who has a can do and positive attitude to join a small but amazing team at a company based in Bolton.

This role would be ideal for an individual who is at the stage in their career where longevity and stability within a secure team for the long term is the key factor for their next career opportunity.

You will be working on a ticketing process where you will be responsible for actioning changes and updates to clients information on a large Finance Shared Services database. The ideal candidate will have a background working in roles such as Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Invoicing, Expenses or Reconciliation.

Offering hybrid working, Tuesday and Wednesday on site in the office and the rest working from home, full kit provided, full time hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, on site parking with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and paying a basic salary of £24000 -£26000

What will you be doing as a Finance Administrator ?

  • Supporting the clients by working to SLA timescales to action any changes which need to be made
  • Having great attention to detail
  • Completing all amendment requests with exceptional accuracy
  • Processing expense claims
  • Making updates to contact information
  • Reconciliation of the clients details to ensure its accurate
  • Setting up of new accounts
  • Making changes to financial information, contacts and details of the vendor
  • Working on Excel issuing management reports with any information that is required
  • Processing of all data requests, quality checks and cleansing any errors identified
  • Implementing ongoing improvements opportunities


What skills & experience will you need as a Finance Administrator?

  • You have worked any type of finance role
  • Have experience working on a shared service database would be advantageous but not essential
  • Are confidant working on Excel
  • You are at the stage where you want to stay with a team long term for the foreseeable future with pressures of progression
  • You have a strong work ethic and are customer focussed
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Enjoy being part of a small and committed team


What will you get in return for your work as a Finance Administrator?

  • Permanent Contract with immediate start
  • Basic salary up £24000 to £26000
