Field Service Traction Lift Engineer

Salary £33k with an expected OTE of £40-50k

Allowances - Company vehicle, phone, and laptop.

Traction Lift Engineer is required to install and maintain vertical access equipment in industrial, construction and wind turbine environments. You will be expected to travel across the UK and Ireland on a regular basis with some international travel. Main responsibilities will include installation, maintenance, fault-find & repair, test & inspection, commissioning, technical support and LOLER Thorough Examination on our products. Specific product training will be given.

This is a role with a large amount of autonomy and is suited to an individual with confidence and good communication skills as you will be the face of our company to our customers.

You must be able to work remotely on your own as well as having the ability to slot into a team where appropriate.

You will also be required to maintain regular contact with office staff and direct line management keeping them appraised of day-to-day activities.

20 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays rising to 25 days annual holiday after 12 months

Required

Experience of working in an engineering or construction field

Maintenance qualification such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent

Experience of working on 3 phase machines including fault finding/troubleshooting

Happy to work at heights and travel overseas or offshore.

Beneficial
CompEx core competence certification an advantage.
Experience of installation and maintenance of large machines. Familiarity with frequency converters and PLC’s
