Join our clients expanding business as an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Field Service Engineer! Enjoy travelling throughout the UK as part of a close-knit team based in Thetford. Ideally, you'll have experience with control panels including PLCs, Inverters, encoders, etc. Mechanical routine maintenance and inspection of basic lifting equipment experience would be desirable, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

  • Fault diagnosis & minor electrical repairs
  • Electrical compliance inspection & testing
  • Routine PPM mechanical maintenance
  • LOLER inspection of equipment
  • Working as part of a close, friendly, and supportive team
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks

Requirements of the Field Service Engineer:

  • City & Guilds Electrical Engineering Qualifications
  • City & Guilds inspection and testing (Desirable)
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
  • Experience in Mechanical Maintenance
  • Reasonable IT literacy
  • IPAF and PASMA (desirable)
  • Comfortable with working at heights
  • Full UK manual Driving License
