Field Service Engineer - Up to £34,000, Company Car, Laptop

I am working with an established supplier of photocopier and printer solutions, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer, to work in and around the Aylesbury, Hertfordshire area. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of photocopiers and printers at various customer sites.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Servicing, maintaining, and performing emergency repairs on photocopiers at customer sites.
  • Diagnosing issues, replacing damaged components, reassembling equipment, reinstalling software, and testing repairs
  • Efficiently and safely driving to customer sites, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and legality, and ensuring timely service
  • Accurate reporting of job closures, including response times and part bookings
  • Basic installation of new machines at customer sites
  • Ability to contact customers for remote support calls.
  • Familiarity with software applications like Papercut and SafeQ.

Skills and experience:

  • Experience with printer installations, troubleshooting, support and maintenance.
  • Experience working with KonicaMinolta or other machines.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and capability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Skilled in accurately documenting job details and maintaining comprehensive call records.
  • Strong communication abilities and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
