Field Service Engineer

Location: Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, G64 1XP - Field Based
Salary: £32,114 - £34,367 per year + Vehicle and Benefits
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm

We are a small dedicated business that has been established since 1976, located in Bishopbriggs to the north of Glasgow.

About the Field Service Engineer Role:

The job involves installing and servicing a wide variety of communication equipment, including access control, CCTV, nurse call systems and public address systems. You will be provided with a company vehicle and will be required to attend various customer sites throughout Scotland.

You will be required to work away (overnight hotel stay) from time to time.

With training you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance, repairs, and replacement of electronic equipment.
• Listen to and resolve customer issues in a professional manner.
• Troubleshoot problems within the scope of equipment operation.
• Experience on any of the following would be advantageous, but training will be provided -
- Access Control
- CCTV
- Nurse Call
- Public Address & Sound Systems

Field Service Engineer - It would be great if you had:

• Experience in the maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Field service experience (preferable).
• Experience in using computers/ tablets.
• A full driving licence (essential).
• Good face to face customer skills.
• Due to the nature of some of our clients a disclosure criminal record check will be required.
