Business Development Representative

Business Development Role - Field sales of fresh, high-quality fruit & veg, but also ambient goods.

£55-60k + bonus of about 15% of salary - with extra kickers for larger profits.

The Role

• It's a non-aggressive sales role, where the emphasis is on quality, customer service, and speed of delivery.
• The successful candidate must have food sector knowledge - preferably perishable goods.
• They are looking for a good salesperson and someone who can demonstrate building relationships, selling through food knowledge.
• The person the role reports to has amazing product knowledge and a very good network. They can guide and direct someone to succeed in this role.
• They want someone focused on - NEW business, up-selling, but the main focus is new clients

The Company

• Main customers are restaurants - mostly mid / high end. Plus, bars and hotels. B-C / B-B markets.
• London based and supply mostly London venues, but expansion is leading to supply of outer central London. They will get things to customers that day, sometimes even twice a day.
• They are highly dependable - customers can be very longstanding, and take time to win, but easy to lose.
