MS468 - Fencing & Landscaping Operative

Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire (working away)

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum basic + overtime opportunities 

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Fencing & Landscaping Operative. The successful candidate would be required to work weekends and stay away on a regular basis, accommodation will be provided. We are looking for an experienced, hard working and reliable person to undertake a variety of landscaping work.

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grass Cutting (Hand held and ride-on machinery).
  • Tree & Shrub Planting.
  • Grassland/meadow seeding.
  • Ecological Mitigation work.
  • Fencing.
  • Hedgerow & Landscaping management.
  • Vegetation clearance.
  • Daily work would include the basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
  • Good level of site safety, problem solving and ability to work in a team.
  • Adhering at all times to the Health and Safety procedures and site safety.
  • Experience of Horticultural and Agricultural methods would be beneficial.
  • Training will be provided.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • Landscaping: 1 year (required).
  • CSCS Card beneficial.
  • First Aid and Machinery Operative Certificate would be an advantage.
  • Opportunity to work long hours. Good rate of pay for the right applicant.
